I mean, i went from JW with all the beliving in jehovah, then while i was still in it went to belief but he doesnt care about individuals, then i left and went Deist, he is there but has no interest in earth, to now...I just dont give a damn if god is there or not.

apparently "prejudice" applies only to racial equality and has nothing to do with diverse sexual orientation or religious beliefs.

The WT is not aimed at america or australia or any other western country, it is aimed at africa and other hotspots where people are desperate for comfort. Countries wher you are unlikely to find a picture such as the cover.
The JWs present themselves as the cure all. To some countries, the scene in that picture just might be paradise...and the WT is there waiting for them

i think in the deeper recesses of their minds they know that soon they will be loosing this battle and that some video on youtube will go viral bringing them shame and exposure.. the way i see it, this battle is just starting and is going to get much worse in the future, they are multiplying the number of people willing to expose them by their cruel practice of disfellowshipping used as a form of information control.. people who are waking up to the governing body's deceptions are growing in numbers all the time, and what starts out as a trickle of people leaving can become a flood in time which seems very likely.
as the numbers become greater and greater the more worried they should be, and this is seen in their more merciless treatment of those who no longer beleive their crap, they are willing to do what ever it takes to keep the rank and file in darkness and under their control.
it all spells desparation to me.. .

The governing body are nothing but a tool for a property and publishing corporation. They are the top 'sales team' thats all. They will do what they are told to do to keep money from the product coming in...
and that might not be get more mainstream either, i think it will be get tougher and more demanding of the core members...the rest can nick off.
As for what the public think, since when have they cared about the public? They tell the rank and file that if and when the public deride and punish them thats the proof of the truth.

this is in response to the article in "the age" newspaper in australia this morning.
the bethel elder solicitor vin toole quoted the page and lied.
but alas no one can get onto the jw website bec google wont let anyone on it.... .
If they updated the website to include the fact that they do shun, that would be a kick up Vincents bum from Brooklyn...

i have mentioned this before but never quoted it so i think for many it was not really paid much attention.
but today i pulled the book off the shelf and found the quote (which i posted on another thread but i want to add a few things to the quotes.. after russell died and rutherford illegally seized the presidency of the wts he was faced with the huge problem that russell's "organization" was a rather loosely organizations that were independently controlled by the local congregations.
the society had little control of what people believed.

I had a chat with JWs last time they came, about the HUMAN LEADER, and of course they said no we dont have a human leader...
I said "oh yes you do, its called a composite leader, made up of 7 MEN...collectivly the human leader.

The Watchtower does not have exclusivity on being an arsehole organization.
There is no better way to hurt any corporation than by the public learning the truth about them. In commerce people say it by how they spend dollars, in politics it's by voting. With religion its by walking out or slamming doors.
The way to go is the media, there is no point in an attack on HQ itself. The media will, if provided with accurate information, do it for us. Thay will not lead to the Watchtower getting shut down but they may well force them to change like it or not. And if not, then it will stop them growing.
